
Viviana is an honors student as well as Harvard’s top cross country runner. She is a passionate supporter of the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter, both as an outreach worker and a member of the design & marketing committee for a new shelter. She has also tutored grade school students and advised adults on job searches, housing applications and goal planning.
Growing up in the Boston area, Viviana is familiar with many of the schools to which EaSEP students aspire. She’s also familiar with the poverty her mother knew growing up in Colombia.
Viviana was named a Harvard Scholar (top 5% of her class) last year and won the Harvard Detur Book Prize for academic achievement. She expects to graduate next year with an A.B. in the Philosophy of the Mind, Brain, and Behavior tract.
